Asoka’s SM6400 HomePlug® AV module allows developers to easily embed HomePlug technology into products to add support for powerline networking at speeds of 200 Mbps. The modules are based on Intellon’s INT5500CS chipset and integrate most of the components required for HomePlug functionalities on a tiny, single in-line package. Each module can be easily connected into any existing embedded system via Intellon’s proprietary SIMPLE PowerBusTM header, instantly adding HomePlug functionality with virtually no PCB space and no system redesign needed.
